The simplest things make me want to write. It's a little odd how natural this came to me. If you like jam bands, then you know who Umphrey's McGee is. They have a song called Nemo. Well, the did a remix called Nemo's Fat-Bottomed Good Times. It musically BLEW MY MIND. Seriously, it's amazing if you have a general understanding of music. Back to the point I was trying to make... It inspired me to write because lyrically, it's telling you that you only live once, so do it right. I still don't know the purpose behind blogging. I guess so others can get a more in depth view of what's going on in your life. I suppose I use it to write whatever is on my mind. Oddly enough, these are all inspired by things that happen around me. A song, a look, a saying. Sometimes, even the way notes go together in a phrase to make something musically phenomenal. And for the record, every picture I have used in posts so far have been my own. Every now and again I get a photographer's eye and take pictures. They might suck and they might rock. I'm not really sure because I've never had them critiqued. If you know anything, by all means, feel free to give some feedback. Tonight I got a huge case of "cabin fever." So, Will and I took a little road trip to Decatur, aka D-Rock, and ate at Steak and Shake. It was awful as always. :) But it was something different and I hate looking at the same things everyday. Usually a simple ride to get gas or something to eat will fix it, but not this time. I'm going to miss the people on my hall and how random they are. I walked out of the bathroom and Erin was stretching in the middle of the hall by herself. We have the most awkward moments out of everyone, but they always make my day. She'll walk in my room while I'm behind the door and almost annihilate my face or I'll walk in the bathroom while she's blowing her nose. Those times always make me laugh the hardest. I fixed my old iPod. I'm so excited.
