A lot has happened in the past few days. I moved back to Florence and couldn't be happier. But more importantly, I think I've found that one person that you read about in fairy tales. Excuse me for a minute while I tell you something that makes every female in the universe envious. Jon Thomas Adams has taken my heart and ran full speed ahead. I know, it sounds so lame. But honestly, you just have to see us to understand what I'm talking about. It's inhuman and almost a little bizarre. Have you ever met someone and though you had known them your whole life? It's only happened to me twice. Once with my best friend, Alex and now with J.T. Alex and I met on Preference night of Formal Recruitment. From the beginning we knew we were going to be best friends. There is no doubt in my mind that we will make it to be 80 and still writing each other letters. She will be my maid of honor in my wedding and when we die, I'm sure it'll be together. J.T. came into the picture last Fall. We took Earth Science together and were lab partners; I know, it's retarded. Now, we're two people working together to make it through life as happy as possible. His friends and family love me, and mine are just as crazy about him. Is it possible for you to have such a solid connection with people that you can't live without them? I honestly think I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for those two people. I don't want to imagine my life with out Alex and J.T. They're the ones that keep me going when the day is stopping. It's pretty safe to say that these two will be in my life for a very long time to come.
Alexandra Lynn and Jon Thomas, I love you both. You have made my life complete and I couldn't ask for more out of my relationship with you two. Thank you for being my inspiration in life and picking me up when I'm down.
In the words of Tom Petty,
"You have four years to be irresponsible here. Relax. Work is for people with jobs. You'll never remember class time, but you'll remember time you wasted hanging out with your friends. So, stay out late. Go out on a Tuesday with your friends when you have a paper due Wednesday. Spend money you don't have. Drink 'til sunrise. The work never ends, but college does..."
